Welcome to the Post-Apocalyptic World of 2084!
THE STORY
The post-apocalyptic world of 2084 is a tough, cold, dystopian existence.
Zee Town, LA is the first civilized city where both the Living and the Dead co-exist. It isn’t perfect; there’s still tension and unrest between the two entities given the lack of opportunity for zombies.
In recent years, there has been an uptick in protests and uprisings as the Zombie continue fight for equality. The city is edgy… and so is the music.
Behind the scenes, hidden away from the chaos is a girl with a voice and a dream.​
OUR HERO
Zara is a struggling musician living in Zee Town trying to launch a singing career in a world where there are very few opportunities.
She hears about an open call for a lead singer in the rock band The Zombie Bitches.
Knowing the group would never want a Living fronting their band, Zara goes to the audition disguised as the Dead.
THE BAND
The Zombie Bitches are an all-female Zombie rock band trying to regain their previous success and reach an even higher level of popularity. Their music is described as rock with the strong pop melodies.
Zara auditions and lands the gig!
With Zara, The Zombie Bitches’ popularity explodes and before you know it, they’re one of the most popular group in years.
But during a concert in front of a crowd of screaming Zombies, Zara’s identity is exposed, putting the entire band at risk – figurately and literally.
SUMMARY
At its core, The Zombie Bitches is a story about love, inclusivity, and acceptance, and features the best rock music of the 80s… the 2080’s that is!
The underlying message is one of hope and unity.
