Your “Divo to Diva” presentation was beyond fantastic! You explained a controversial subject in a kind, thought provoking, captivating way. Every question I had about why and how my friend of many years had transitioned from a man to a woman was answered…. even questions I had not even thought of.

It’s obvious much effort and hard work has been put into this project to develop this outstanding presentation. It’s well-thought out and presented in an extremely entertaining way with dignity and compassion. You had the entire audience mesmerized from start to finish. Without doubt, this is of “Ted Talk” quality.

Within the first few minutes, I knew I was in for something special; something unique. It turned out to be so much more. I want to say it was entertaining because it certainly was. But it was enlightening, profound and so beautifully done. You were telling us about your experience, but it felt like I was experiencing your experience… taking your journey and really understanding what it might be like to be trans. In the moment, I had no idea how much I was learning. The way you integrate story, music and experience is incredibly powerful. It was a beautiful experience I won’t ever forget.

The story being told is much more than the trajectory of Christina’s transition. The audience is exposed to the healing powers of love, kindness, integrity and forgiveness.

As we watch the unfolding of the emotions that followed each step of the transition process, we are offered an opportunity to heal our most private wounds. When the show ends, we find ourselves as a better people, more hopeful and compassionate than before.

Key Change is not just a stunning display of talent, courage, and authenticity, but a valuable contribution to the community. By sharing her personal journey of transitioning with warmth and honesty, she helps to broaden our understanding and acceptance of all people. Her willingness to be vulnerable and share her story is a powerful example of how the arts can educate, inspire, and unite us all. We are grateful to Christina for her valuable contribution, and I highly recommend her must-see trans talk.

Christina's story chronicles her journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, as well as her search for identity and her place in the world... things most of us face at different times in our lives, regardless of our walk of life. Perfectly told, using both script and song, her story is at times humorous, and at times emotional, but always entertaining and informative.

This is an honest, inciteful, and brave performance.
